I'm a widow recently retired from the workforce and while I'm enjoying it, I'm looking for someone to spend time with. My children are adults with families of their own and while I have lots of friends I'm tired of being the third wheel! I consider myself to be reasonably intelligent and I love meeting new people and seeing new places. I love nothing more than meeting friends for coffee or a meal and chat or exploring nearby towns. I was born and raised in rural NSW and still think of myself as a country girl despite living for many, many years in Canberra. I have been overseas a couple of times and would love to go back to Scotland, Ireland and Venice, as long as I had someone to go with. My life currently revolves around my family and friends, but I'm keen to expand my experiences and to live my life to the fullest extent with someone who enjoys my company. I'm generous, kind and (mostly) thoughtful and go out of my way to help if I can.
